Former
state minister for information Dr Murad Hasan has finally returned to the
country after failing to enter Dubai after Canada.
He
landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday (December 12) at 4:55
pm on Emirates Flight EK-586.
Multiple sources at the airport confirmed the information. Murad will be taken to the immigration office first. Immigration officials will then question him.
News
arrives that Murad Hasan will arrive in the country on an Emirates Airlines
flight at 8 am on Sunday. However, the plane landed in Dhaka but he did not
come on the flight.
Earlier,
Dr Murad tried unsuccessfully to enter Canada. He was then picked up on a
flight to Dubai. It is learned that he is preparing to come to the country
after not being able to enter Dubai. Journalists crowded Hazrat Shahjalal
International Airport on Sunday morning on the news of his return home.
However, he did not come on the scheduled flight.
When
Dr Murad Hassan arrived at the Canadian airport on Friday (December 10), the
country's Border Services Agency did not allow him to enter. Immigration
officials questioned him when he arrived at Toronto Pearson International
Airport at 1:30 p.m. He was later told that many Canadians had objected to his
entry into the country. Murad Hasan was then flown to a plane bound for Dubai.
