Covid: Bangladesh Logs 1 More Death; New Infections 397

Bangladesh logged one more Covid related death and 397 new infections in the last 24hrs until Tuesday morning.

According to the latest data, the total number of fatalities reached 28,062, while the positivity rate stood at 2.10 percent.

After adding the fresh cases, the total number of caseloads jumped to 15,84,023 said a regular bulletin of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The health authorities reported the latest figures after testing 18,938 samples at 851 laboratories across the country.

At the same time, 294 patients recovered from the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, raising the overall recovery to 15,48,044.

Bangladesh has so far tested 1,14,29,234 samples.

Meanwhile, the global Covid cases reached 281,468,439 and fatalities reached 5,408,970.
