Light Rain Likely in Parts of Country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, and Dhaka divisions and the regions of Kushtia and Jashore in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today, reports BSS.

"Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, and Dhaka divisions and the regions of Kushtia and Jashore in 24-hour till 9 am tomorrow," said a met office bulletin issued here this morning.

Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Light to moderate fog may occur at several places over the country from midnight to morning, the bulletin added.

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may fall by 1-3 degrees Celsius over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 29.0 degrees Celsius at Cox's Bazar in Chattogram division and minimum temperature today was 11.0 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet division.

Today's sunset at 5:20 pm and tomorrow's sunrise will be at 6.40 am at Dhaka.
