HC for Recruiting 84 People Recommended in 3 BCS

The High Court (HC) today ordered the authorities concerned to recruit as soon as possible 84 candidates recommended in 36th, 37th and 39th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) in different cadre services.

A High Court division bench of Justice Mamnoon Rahman and Justice Khandaker Diliruzzaman passed the order after holding final hearing on four separate writ petitions filed in this regard.

Advocates Siddiq Ullah Miah and Mizanur Rahman moved the pleas before the court, while Deputy Attorney General Amit Das Gupta stood for the state.

"In spite of passing all the exams and recommendations by the concerned commission for recruitment, the petitioners were not recruited without any reason. There were no specific allegations or criminal case against them also," Advocate Siddiq Ullah Miah told the media.

 Of the petitioners, 10 were from 36th, 38 from 37th and 36 from 39th BCS, he added.
