3 Killed As Train Hits Human Hauler in C'nawabganj

Three people were killed when a train hit a human hauler in Sadar Upazila of Chapainawabganj on Monday morning, reports media.

The accident happened at about 8:30 am at Hajir intersection of Alinagar area.

The deceased were identified as Seher Ali, 45, son of late Rois Uddin, of Alinagar village, Fulchan Ali, 50, son of Fulchan Ali, Naimul, 35, son of Manik, of Kendul village.

Local people said, there was no gate barrier at the level crossing. The incident took place when a Rajshahi-bound train hit the vehicle around 8 am leaving three people killed on the spot.

In this connection, Mozaffar Hossain, Officer-in-charge of Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station, said all the deceased were the passengers of the three-wheeler. The bodies of the deceased will be handed over to their families after legal process.
