2,500 Meters Net Seized from Halda River in Ctg

A team of Sadarghat Naval Police in two separate drives seized 2,500 meters current net from two different points of Halda River under Raozan upazila of the district today.

The police team led by Asharaful Alam, sub-inspector of Naval Police, conducted the drive at Madhunaghat and Mazirpara point in the river and seized the net.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadarghat Naval Police Mizanur Rahman said regular drives will be conducted to protect the only natural fish breeding ground, its dolphin and biodiversity of Bangabandhu Fisheries Heritage Halda River.
