43rd BCS Written Exams from July 24

The 43rd BCS written examinations will be held from July 24 to August 4. 

Nur Ahmmed, Examination Controller of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) issued a notice in this regard on Sunday.  

As many as 435,190 job seekers applied to attend the BCS preliminary test last year.

Out of them, 321,650 took the exams at 369 centres across the country on Oct 29 amid the coronavirus pandemic.

A total of 15,229 candidates passed the 43rd BCS preliminary exams.

On Nov 30, 2020, the commission advertised for the 43rd BCS preliminary exams to appoint 1,814 government officials in different posts.

These include 550 posts in general cadre, 310 in technical cadre, 843 in education cadre, 12 in teachers training college and 99 in technical education cadre.
