Fire at Garment Factory in Chattogram EPZ

A fire broke out at a garment factory in EPZ Police Station area of Chattogram Friday, reports media.

Fire Service and Civil Defence deputy assistant director Liton Das said the fire broke out on the fifth floor of a complex in Barrister Sultana Ahmed Chowdhury College area at around 12:30 pm.

Being informed, twelve fire firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to douse the blaze, he added.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
