Tipu, Preeti Murders: Masum on 7-Day Remand

A court in Dhaka on Monday placed Masum on a seven-day remand in a case filed for killing of Awami League leader Zahidul Islam Tipu and a female college student at North Shahjahanpur area, reports media.

Earlier in the day, Masum was produced before the court of Dhaka's Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzel Hossain. Later, police filed a 15-day remand petition for interrogating Masum.

After hearing the case, the court passed the seven-day remand order.
