Rain, Thundershowers likely over Parts of Country in 24 Hrs

Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind at some places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am on Wednesday, reports media.

"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Sylhet division and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Chattogram divisions," said a met office bulletin.

Weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, it added.

However, day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius at Mongla and minimum temperature today was 20.1 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 6.13 pm and rises at 5:52 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
