Railway Operations Suspended All Over Country

The Railway Running Staff Employees Unity Council suspended all operations of trains across the country early on Wednesday demanding increased allowances and retirement benefits. 

No train left Kamalapur railway station in the capital on Wednesday, said Afsar Uddin, the master of Kamalapur railway station. 

Running staffers suspended their operations without giving any prior notice seeking a 75 percent running allowance along with other retirement benefits.

The government last year canceled the 75 percent running allowance after retirement. 

At the Kamalapur railway station, it has been seen that passengers are suffering due to the sudden decision.
