One Killed in Munshiganj Road Accident

A young man was killed in a road accident at Sreenagar Upazila in Munshiganj district on Monday, reports media.

The deceased was Tanjil Ahmed, 22, son of Abdul Sayem, hailed from Cumilla district.

Locals said a motorcycle fell on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway at Shologhar area at about 3:00 pm after its rider lost control over steering, leaving the rider Tanjil dead on the spot.

On information, fire fighters recovered the body and handed over to police, said Sreenagar Fire Service and Civil Defence warehouse inspector Mahfuz Riben.

Hasara Highway Police Outpost sub-inspector Md Zahir said they informed the deceased' family.
