Shawwal Moon Not Sighted in Bangladesh, Eid on Tuesday

Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Tuesday as the moon of Shawwal month could not be sighted anywhere in the sky of Bangladesh today, reports media.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Moon Sighting Committee at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on Sunday evening. 

The decision was taken after reviewing data from all district administrations, Islamic Foundation head offices, divisional and district offices, the Meteorological Department and space research and remote sensing institutes.
