Two Brothers Die in Chandpur

A man was killed by a lightning strike while his brother died of heart attack in Sadar Upazila of Chandpur district on Wednesday morning, reports media.

The deceased were identified as Rubel Hossain, 26, and Sohel Hossain, 24. They were residents of Uttar Kachiyara in the Upazila.

Sohel died of a heart attack when he went to see his brother Rubel who died of lightning strike in the area at around 9:45. Later, they were rushed to Faridganj Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctors declared them dead.

The bodies were sent to Chandpur General Hospital morgue, Faridganj Police Station officer-in-charge Md Shahid Hossain said.
