Foreign trips of all government officials, including officials of the statutory, state-owned, autonomous, and semi-autonomous organizations and state-run companies and financial institutions, in the context of post-Covid-19 economic recovery and ongoing global situation, as per a Finance Ministry circular issued here today, reports BSS.
Earlier in a circular, the finance ministry said all types of foreign trips, including exposure visits or study tours or APA and innovation tours, and participation in workshops or seminars, under operating and development budgets for all government officials will remain stopped until further notice.
As per today's circular, the finance ministry said the restriction will apply to statutory, state-owned, autonomous, and semi-autonomous organizations, and state-run companies and financial institutions using their own funds for foreign travels as well.
The relevant authorities have been instructed to implement the decision immediately.
