3 War Criminals Sentenced to Death in Moulvibazar

The International Crimes Tribunal-1 today handed down death penalty to three Moulvibazar men for committing crimes during the Liberation War in 1971.

The three-member tribunal led by Justice Md Shahinur Islam announced the verdict today, Prosecutor Sabina Yesmin Khan told the media.

The convicts are Abdul Aziz alias Habul, Abdul Mannan and Abdul Matin of Baralekha upazila in the district.

Of them, Matin is still on the run while the two others are in jail at present.
