Eid Advance Train Ticket Sales Begin

The sale of advance train tickets for Eid-ul-Azha began on Friday morning.

Bangladesh Railway started selling advance train tickets for July 5 at six places in Dhaka — Kamalapur, Kamalapur suburban platform, Airport railway station, Tejgaon railway station, Cantonment, Phulbaria (old railway station) — and six places in Joydevpur at 8:00 am, reports UNB.

Ticket sales also began at 8:00 am through the ‘Rail Sheba’ mobile app and e-ticketing platform on the internet. Ticket sales at the railway stations will continue till 4:00 pm daily.

Besides, the advance tickets for July 6, 7, 8, and 9 will be available on July 2, 3, 4, and 5 respectively.

On the other hand, the sale of return tickets will begin on July 7.

The tickets for July 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 will be available on July 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 respectively.

Each passenger is eligible to buy a maximum of four tickets.
