PM Heading to Tungipara by Road

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left Dhaka for Tungipara in Gopalganj at around 8 am on Monday with her family members by road across the Padma Bridge. 

She paid toll at the Mawa point of the Padma Bridge at 8:50 am, the PM's press wing confirmed.

Prime Minister's son Sajeeb Wazed Joy, ICT Affairs Adviser; and daughter Saima Wazed Putul accompanied her.

The Premier is expected to reach Tungipara at 11:00am. Later, she will pay his respects by laying a wreath at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
