DSHE Official Placed on One-Day Remand over Question Paper Leak

A Dhaka court today placed Chandra Shekhar Halder Milton, an official of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), on a one-day remand in a case filed over leakage of question paper of a recruitment exam.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mamunur Rashid Siddiqui passed the order as police produced him before the court and pleaded to place Milton on a seven-day remand in the case.

Earlier, the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested Milton, an officer of the 31st BCS (education cadre), from near Shikkha Bhaban in the morning today for his alleged involvement in the leaking question paper of a recent recruitment examination.
