Fire at Old Dhaka's Plastic Factory Brought Under Control

The fire that broke out at a plastic factory in Kamalbag area of Old Dhaka’s Chawkbazar on Monday has been brought under control.

The fire started around 12 pm but the origin could not be known immediately, said Anwarul Islam, Wearhouse Inspector (Media cell) of Fire service and civil defense headquarters.

On information, ten firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 2:20pm, added the inspector.
