A fire broke out in a building in
the capital's Bijoynagar. Eight units of Fire Service and Civil Defense are
working to control the fire.
Fire service control room duty
officer Rafi Al Farooq confirmed that the building caught fire after 6:30 pm on
Wednesday (August 24).
Rafi Al Farooq said that at 6:38
in the evening, I received information that there was a fire in a building in Bijoynagar
of the capital. Initially I found out that there is a restaurant called Khawar
Adda in the building. A fire broke out on the top floor of that building. We
have eight units working to control the fire. Six units were initially sent.
Two more were later added.
However, he could not report the
cause of the fire, damage and casualties.
It is known that Khawar Adda is a
tin shed house on the two-storey roof of the restaurant building.
