Fire at 'Khawar Adda' in Bijoynagar Brought Under Control

A fire in a building in the capital's Bijoynagar has been brought under control. 13 units of fire service work to control the fire.

Rafi Al Farooq, the duty officer of the control room of the fire service, said that the building caught fire around 6:30 pm on Wednesday (August 24).

He said that at 6:38 in the evening, I received information that there was a fire in a building in Bijoynagar of the capital. The building houses a restaurant named Khawar Adda.

Officer-in-Charge (OC-Media) Shahjahan Sikder of the Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense said that 13 units worked on the spot and brought the fire under control at 8:27 pm. Hamim Electronics godown is said to be on the second floor of the building.

Initially, the official could not tell the cause of the damage and fire.
