Body of AIDS Patient Recovered in Shahbagh

The dead body of a man named Milan (40) was recovered from the footpath of Shibbari area of ​​Shahbagh in the capital. Police said he was suffering from AIDS.

On Tuesday (September 6) around 3:30 pm, members of the Shahbag police station recovered the body from the footpath in front of Shibbari Russell Tower. Later sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) hospital morgue for autopsy.

Deputy Inspector (SI) Shahbagh Police Station Jobin Ferdous said, the body was recovered from the footpath in front of Shibbari Russell Tower and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital Mortuary for post-mortem.

The deceased was HIV (AIDS) positive. He used to take medicines regularly from Care Bangladesh. The person is believed to have died of illness.

A person named Md Rocky told the hospital that the deceased Milan's house is in Jamalpur district. Father's name is deceased Shah Jahan. Milan was suffering from AIDS for a long time. He himself is suffering from AIDS. They both used to sleep on Shibbari footpath. Rocky also said that Milon worked as a laborer in the caravan market.
