The Arakan Army (AA), an armed organization of Mog rebels, is fighting fiercely with the army in Myanmar's Rakhine. The minority Muslim Rohingya community in the country is in danger. Because this time, along with the Myanmar army, the Arakan army is also torturing them. As a result, many people are leaving their homes and coming to Bangladesh border to seek shelter.

It is known that the Myanmar army has been trying to take the Rohingyas who are scattered in different parts of Rakhine state from their homes to the Maungdaw camp since last August. Men are killed and women are oppressed only if they disobey their words.

Meanwhile, the rebel Arakan Army has captured an outpost of the Myanmar Army in  Maungdaw, Rakhine. Last Saturday (September 10) this outpost was captured by the Myanmar-based media Irrawaddy.

Later on Sunday (September 11) in a statement, the Arakan Army claimed that a hilltop outpost of the Myanmar Army's 352 Infantry Battalion was captured last Saturday morning. Which is located in Jed Chaung village, 3 km from  Maungdaw city.

The statement also said that they had an hour-long clash with the army of the military government. Several soldiers were killed and the rest were captured by them. A picture of the seized arms and ammunition was also released by the Arakan Army along with the statement.

According to the local media Western News, 13 soldiers were killed and four people were arrested by the armed group in the attack on the outpost.

On the other hand, according to the Rohingyas who fled to Bangladesh in the last few days, at least 800 Rohingya families are currently hiding in Dhangkhali Char on the other side of the Naf River trying to enter Bangladesh through Shahpari Island. Sensing the opportunity, they are waiting to infiltrate.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said at an event in Rajshahi on Tuesday (September 13) at 11:00 that the government of that country is at war with the Arakan Army. Because of this, sometimes there is shelling on our border. BGB has been strengthened along the Myanmar border. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs protested. The firing is expected to stop soon.

A relief and refugee repatriation official, who did not wish to be named, said two new families had arrived from Myanmar and taken shelter in the camp. No decision has been taken on them yet. Our position is clear, no new Rohingya will be given shelter.

It can be seen on the ground that a group of seven Rohingyas infiltrated through the border last week and took shelter in the Kutupalong camp in Cox's Bazar. All of them are residents of Buthedong village in Rakhine.

Dildar Begum, a member of this group, said that Myanmar's army and gangsters are oppressing us again. They were threatening us to leave from here to  Maungdaw. My husband arrested and killed Shahidullah for protesting this. Attacking the homes of many like me. Fearing for my life, I reached Teknaf after 11 days with a three-month-old child. Later I took refuge in Kutupalong camp from there.

Abul Wafa, who took refuge in the same camp, said that the Mogs and the soldiers are oppressing again. I ran away from this. They are trying to drive us out of the village by talking about fighting. Now 800-900 Rohingyas are staying in the Dhangkhali area of the border. They are also trying to get over it. The Myanmar government plans to camp in Maungdoo Township and keep all the Rohingya there.

Residents of neighboring Bangladesh said that clashes have been going on in Rakhine for the past few weeks. This has affected the border areas. Rohingyas are again entering Bangladesh through the Myanmar border. However, security forces have intensified patrolling along the Bangladesh-Myanmar border to prevent any infiltration.

8-APBN captain Amir Zafar said that they are waiting for the high-level decision of the government regarding the newly arrived Rohingyas.

Incidentally, on August 25, 2017, the Myanmar army indiscriminately killed and tortured the Rohingya in Rakhine. At that time, Rohingya infiltration into Bangladesh began. At that time, more than 700,000 Rohingyas crossed the border and fled to Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. More than 1.1 million Rohingyas, including Rohingyas who came earlier, are housed in various camps in Ukhia-Teknaf.
