Dhaka Briefs ASEAN Envoys over Bangladesh-Myanmar Border Situation

Dhaka briefed the Heads of Mission from South East Asian countries in Dhaka to apprise them of the prevailing situation along Bangladesh and Myanmar today.

Acting Foreign Secretary Rear Admiral (Retd) Md. Khorshed Alam conveyed Bangladesh's deep concerns to the ASEAN envoys on the recent incidents of mortar shells falling and exploding inside Bangladesh territory from Myanmar. 

The envoys assured the Acting Foreign Secretary of taking note of the concerns of Bangladesh and duly conveying those to their respective capitals.
