4 Detained with Knives at PM's Birthday Ceremony in Supreme Court

4 people were detained with knives at the function organized on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's birthday in the Supreme Court.

It has been reported that the Bangabandhu Awami Lawyers Parishad organized a doa mahfil at the Supreme Court Lawyers Association Auditorium on the occasion of the Prime Minister's birthday on Wednesday (September 28). Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Supreme Court Bar President-Secretary and other lawyers participated there. 4 people were arrested with knives from there.

Deputy Attorney General AK M Amin Uddin Manik confirmed the matter to the media and said, "When everyone left after the discussion meeting and prayer meeting, two big knives and white cloth were seen in the bag of a young man. After that, the lawyers arrested three other youths who were with him, along with the woman.

AKM Amin Uddin said, later they were handed over to Shahbagh police station. A case is being prepared in this regard.
