Major Reshuffle at Secretary Level in Administration

The government has brought major changes at the secretary level to make the administration more dynamic. As part of this one senior secretary and two secretaries have been changed.

Senior Secretary of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry Aminul Islam Khan has been made senior secretary of the Public Security Division.

Besides, Chief Executive Officer of Dhaka South City Corporation Farid Ahmed has replaced Aminul as secretary of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry with promotion from his current rank of additional secretary. 

Local Government Department Secretary Mohammad Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury has been promoted to Senior Secretary. He is staying in the local government division.

Industries Secretary Zakia Sultana has been appointed as Information Secretary. Election Commission Secretary Humayun Kabir Khondkar has been appointed as Secretary of the Industry Ministry.

Capital Development Authority (RAJUK) Chairman Md Anichur Rahman Mia (Additional Secretary) has been promoted to the same post as Secretary.

Besides, Jahangir Alam, Additional Secretary attached to the Public Security Division, has been appointed as Election Commission Secretary.

The Public Administration Ministry issued separate gazette notifications in this regard today.
