Daulatdia-Paturia Ferry Routes Resume after 4 Hrs

After four hours of suspension due to heavy fog, the ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia river route resumed at 8 am on Saturday, reports media.

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation's (BIWTC) Daulatdia ghat sources said that they suspended the ferry movement on the route at 4 am as fog suddenly started falling in the river.

As the day progress, the fog increases and visibility drops to near zero.

Considering the situation, the authorities stopped moving ferries to avoid accidents.

Meanwhile, Shah Poran ferry from Daulatdia ghat for Paturia was stuck on the mid river.
