6 Deer Hunters Arrested in Hatia

Bangladesh Coast Guard has arrested six members of deer poaching gang while hunting deer from Hatia in Noakhali.

The arrested are Riaz (26), Feroze (25), Zulfikar (23), Majnu (30), Mannan (32) and Dulal (22) of Manpura area under Bhola district.

They were arrested in Manik Char area of ​​Hatia on Sunday (October 30) afternoon.

Coast Guard BCG Station Hatyar Station Commander Babul Akhtar CPO confirmed the arrest.

He said that the head of deer poaching gang Riaz and his five accomplices were arrested while hunting deer based on secret information. Slaughtered deer, deer skin, deer hunting trap and two knives were seized from the spot. The official said that legal action is being taken against those arrested.
