Man Killed in Alleged Gun Battle in Narayanganj

An alleged terrorist Shahin Mia alias City Shahin was killed following a gun battle with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Chanpara Rehabilitation centre under Rupganj Upazila in the district on Thursday, reports UNB.

"Shahin Mia died at Mugdha General Hospital in Dhaka at 4.30 pm on Thursday after he was injured with gun battle at 2 pm on that day," confirmed by Lt Col Abdullah Al Momen, commander of RAB-1.

Shahin Mia, son of deceased Mujibur of ward no-9 in Chanpara Rehabilitation centre, was accused in 23 different cases including killing, robbery, and drugs, and listed as a top criminal, said the official.
