Maulana Bhashani's 46th Death Anniversary Observed in Tangail

The 46th death anniversary of veteran politician Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani was observed in Santosh of Tangail today.

Marking the day, Vice Chancellor of Maulana Bhashani Science and Technology University Professor Dr Farhad Hossain placed a floral wreath at the mausoleum of Maulana Bhashani and offered munajat there seeking eternal peace of the departed soul.

Later, members of late Bhashani's family, local Awami League district unit, local Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) unit, Krishak Sramik Janata League, Jatiya Party and various socio-cultural organization paid their tributes to Maulana Bhashani in Santosh.

Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani was born on December 12 in 1880 and he died on November 17 in 1976.
