PM's Japan Visit Postponed

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to Japan, scheduled for November 29 to December 1, has been postponed due to present situation.

State minister for foreign affairs Md Shahriar Alam on Thursday disclosed this after a bilateral meeting with his Japanese counterpart on the sideline of the Indian Ocean Rim Association ministerial conference at a hotel in Dhaka.

He said that the new date of her visit would be fixed soon.
