Scrap Warehouse Catches Fire in Khulna

A fire broke out in a warehouse of jute scrap in Aronghata area in the district on Saturday at noon.

Tanharul Islam, deputy director at Khulna divisional Fire Service and Civil Defence department, said, on information, seven firefighting units from several stations rushed to the spot, and are working to tame the fire, reports UNB.

The origin of the fire could not be known immediately, he added.
