One Killed, Three Injured in Manikganj Road Accident

A day labourer was killed and three others were injured in an accident today at Lesraganj- Kantapara road at Chala union of Harirampur Upazila of the district.

The victim was Helal Mollah, 56, son of late Tara Mollah of village Chala under Harirampur Upazila of the district, reports BSS.

The accident took place around 9 am when a brick crusher turned turtle with its labourers and owner. Locals said the owner of the brick crusher was driving the vehicle, but suddenly he lost control over the steering and all of them fell under the vehicle.

The locals rushed to the spot and sent them to Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared labour Helal Mollah as dead. The wounded were admitted to the hospital.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Harirampur Mizanur Rahman confirmed the incident.
