Over 6 Lakh Offer Eid Prayers at Dinajpur’s Gor-e-Shaheed Maidan

Over six lakh Muslims offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Gor-e-Shaheed Maidan in Dinajpur at 9 am today.

Maulana Shamsul Islam Qasimi led the Eid jamaat, reports UNB.

Supreme Court Appellate Division Justice Enayetur Rahim and Jatiya Sangsad Whip Iqbalur Rahim, among others, attended the Eid jamaat.

People from far and wide joined the Eid jamaat ignoring the heat, to be part of the large congregation.

A three-tier security measure was taken on the occasion, including traffic arrangements, and installation of CCTV cameras. A large number of police, Ansar members as well as Rab personnel were deployed to ensure the safety of the devotees.
