Railway Line in B’baria Gets Bent Again Due to Extreme Heat

Train communication has been suspended as the railway line in Brahmanbaria’s Sadar upazila was bent again due to extreme heat.

The line bent in Dariapur area of the town around 10:30 am on Saturday (April 29).

Brahmanbaria Railway Station master Rafiqul Islam said the rail line got bent around 10:30am in Dariapur area of the town.

Dhaka-bound train movement through the line will remain suspended until repair, he said.

“Engineers are working on it. Train movement through the alternative line has remained normal,” Rafiqul Islam added.

Earlier, on April 27, a freight train got derailed due to the bending of the railway line at the same place.
