2 Dead in Madaripur As One Truck Hits Another

Two people were dead in a road accident as a truck hit another at Bakherkandi in Madaripur’s Shibchar upazila early Monday, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Bashir, 35, son of Rashid Hawladar, resident of Shyampur village of Bakherganj area under Barishal district and Sujon, 25, son of Md. Mizan, resident of Bekhutia area of Jashore Sadar upazila. 

Shibchar Highway Police Inspector Abdullah Hel Baki said the incident happened when a truck was hit by another truck from behind at Bakherkandi area on Dhaka-Bhanga Expressway around 4am, leaving the two truck drivers dead on the spot.
