Youth Murdered in Kushtia

A young man was murdered by miscreants in Khoksha municipality area of Kushtia district on Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Nasirul, 23, son of Abdul Khaleque of Janipur Purana Bazar area of the municipality, reports UNB.

According to locals, Nasirul used to do construction work in Sylhet. He returned home two days ago. On Monday afternoon, he left with a locally-modified battery-powered van and did not return home.

Mostafa Habibullah, officer-in-charge of Khoksha Police Station, said police recovered Nasirul's body from the embankment of Gorai river and sent it to Kushtia General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
