Five Killed in Clash in Ukhia Rohingya Camp

Five Rohingyas were killed in a clash between two rival Rohingya terrorist groups at Rohingya camp-8 at Ukhiya of the district in the early hours of today, reports BSS.

Of the deceased, four were identified as Anwar Hossain, 24, Mohammad Hamim, 16, residents of western side of Camp-8, Nurul Amin, 24, of Camp-13 and M Nazibullah of Camp-10. 

Police recovered three bodies from the spot as the Police team immediately went to the camp after receiving clash incident between two Rohingya terrorist groups, said Amir Zafar, Commander of Armed Police Battalion (APBn).

Another two critically injured were rushed to the hospital but on duty doctor declared them dead, said Zafar, also an Additional DIG of the Armed Police Force.

The APBn official, however, said that the members of the law enforcing agencies are conducting operation to arrest these people who were behind the fire incident.

The clash between the two groups was linked to territorial dominance of the camps.

Multiple terrorist groups are usually remaining active at the camp site, said APBn's Assistant Police Super Faruque Ahmed, adding "Police are being continuously carried out its operation to arrest those terrorists."
