Dialogue with BNP only through the Election Commission :Information Minister

Minister of Information and Broadcasting commented that if any dialogue needs to be held for the purpose of the next election, it should be done through the Election Commission. Hasan Mahmud made this comment to the journalists at the end of the program on Friday (July 14) at noon.

The minister said that the dialogue can definitely be with the Election Commission as the election organizing institution is the Election Commission. 

He said, BNP can go to Election Commission if they want to present their statement.

The minister also said that Awami League could sit in the dialogue if formally the Election Commission called the party. 

Earlier on July 5, Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F. Rahman said that there may be a dialogue between the government and the BNP after the election.
