Jhenaidah Awami League: Nasser Shahrear Zahedee to Be Vice-president Again

The full committee of the Jhenaidah district Awami League has been announced. On 19 June, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader approved this 75-member committee. And Jhenaidah Awami League has made Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee the new committee vice-president who is Executive Director of Zahedee Foundation and Chairman of Radiant Pharmaceuticals.

Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee was also vice-president in the previous Jhenaidah district Awami League committee while he showed his leadership and worked for mass people.

Before announcement about the full committee on 13 November, 2022 Jhenaidah district Awami League's council was held while MP Abdul Hai was appointed the president and Saidul Karim Mintu the general secretary.

Earlier in the last council there has been a lot of enthusiasm among the leaders and activists ahead of the council, which has been taken place after seven years. After the announcement of new committee there is huge satisfactions among the leaders, activists and mass people.

As per information, the names of 74 members of the 75-member committee, including the president and general secretary have been released. The post of Deputy Publicity Secretary is kept vacant.

At least 15 former student leaders have been taken into the new committee. Besides, most of the members were in the district committee formed in 2015. 

Among the old ones who have been left out, one of the former commander of freedom fighter parliament is Mukbul Hossain and Jhenaidah Sadar upazila chairman Bir Muktijodha Adv. Abdur Rashid.
