Japanese Mother Finally Gets Custody of Daughters

Eriko Nakano, a Japanese citizen, will continue to have custody of the two kids, according to a ruling made on Sunday by a court in Dhaka. 

Judge Habibur Rahman Bhuiya of the Dhaka District and Sessions Court issued the ruling and dismissed the father of two children's appeal.

According to Eriko Nakano's attorney Shishir Moni, the court decided in favor of the mother by dismissing Imran Sharif's petition as the father of two children.

Eriko Nakano was granted custody of two children by a Dhaka family court on July 29.

According to the ruling by Dhaka Family Court Judge Durrana Rahman, the mother is free to travel to Japan with her two daughters, Makano Jasmine Malika and Makano Laila Lina.

The decision was made, according to the court, with the welfare of the two kids in mind.

Imran Sharif, a US citizen of Bangladeshi descent, and Eriko Nakano were wed in Japan in 2008. Following that, they had three children. 

Eriko submitted a divorce suit to a Japanese court in 2020. Later, Imran traveled to Bangladesh with two of their daughters.

Eriko also traveled to Bangladesh and petitioned the top court for the two kids' custody.
