4 Shot in N’ganj Clash

At least four persons reportedly suffered bullet wounds during a battle between two groups of people on Friday night in Rupganj, Narayanganj, over who would rule the region.  

The injured include residents of the Chanpara neighborhood of Rupganj: Md Alamgir Hosen, 28, Md Ridoy Khan, 30, Md Ismail Hosen, 30, and Md Ilius, 17.

The Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) received the injured. 

According to witnesses cited by Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of the DMCH police outpost, Shamser allegedly shot four persons in order to assert his dominance in that region.

The injured were saved, and they were given medical attention at the DMCH. They let the concerned police station know about the situation.
