3 Burnt in Narayanganj Gas Cylinder Blast

Three persons in Narayanganj's Fatullah received burn wounds on Saturday night as a result of a gas cylinder explosion that occurred while they were cooking in their kitchen.

Mohammad Alam, 35, Md. Ramjan Ali, 22, and Md. Sifat, 12, are three wounded patients getting care at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

The incident took place about 11:30 p.m.

The three injured patients are in critical condition, says the hospital doctor.

"We are working at the same company in Fatullah," said Sumon, who drove the injured person to the hospital. Three people were hurt when the explosion happened when we were doing cooking.

Alam, Ramjan, and Sifat were all taken to the hospital with burn injuries, according to Md Torikul Islam, the resident physician at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. Alam had 72% burns, Ramjan had 58%, and Sifat had 28%.
