Law Minister Anisul Haque said that the draft commission has been prepared to identify the perpetrators of Bangabandhu's murder and will soon be sent to the Prime Minister for approval.

He said this at a discussion meeting on August Tragedy, National and International Politics at Sirdap in the capital on Thursday (August 24).

Conspirators will be identified by setting up a high-powered commission, so that future generations can able to  know regarding the issue, the minister said.

The minister also said that Ziaur Rahman was involved in Bangabandhu's murder. For this reason, he did not take the initiative to prosecute it when he was in power, rather he stopped the prosecution of the killers with the Indemnity Ordinance.

Anisul Haque said that there were 19 attempts to kill Sheikh Hasina. After the attack on August 21, Khaleda said that the grenade came out of Hasina's vanity bag. Due to the 21-year delay in the murder of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib and his family members, bringing all the murderers to death is a difficult task. Even after such a heinous murder, seven judges were embarrassed to hear the case for no reason.

He also said that when Moudud Ahmad was the law minister, I called for the appointment of two additional judges to start hearing the Bangabandhu murder case. But he didn't. Now if the people of Bangladesh are the judge by analyzing the activities of BNP, the circumstantial evidence of Bangabandhu's murder will be seen. Ziaur Rahman is involved in Bangabandhu's murder.
