About 82 km of railway track from Dhaka to Faridpur's Bhanga via Padma Bridge is now ready for train movement. Today, the train will run on this route experimentally (a trial run).

A train left Rajbari for Dhaka's Kamalapur Yesterday morning. The Railway Minister, along with senior railway officials, will go to Bhanga via Padma Bridge from Kamalapur on this train today.

Many people gathered at Rajbari railway station yesterday morning to see the train before it left for Dhaka through the Padma Bridge. According to Rajbari railway station sources, the train was at Rajbari station last Tuesday night.

At that time, eager people flocked to see the train. Many people take pictures and videos of the train. Later yesterday, at 10:50 a.m., the train left Rajbari railway station for Dhaka.

The train has an engine and eight coaches. The train will leave Kamalapur for Bhanga Railway Station at 9 a.m. today for a trial run through Padma Bridge.

According to the related sources, train movement will officially start from Dhaka to Banga via the Padma Bridge on October 10. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate this new railway on that day.

Railways is constructing a new railway line from Dhaka to Jeshore with a length of about 172 km through the Padma Bridge Rail Link Project. Among them, about 82 km of railway from Dhaka to Bhanga is being opened. The train is scheduled to start up to Jeshore in June next year.
