Emmanuel Macron Leaves Dhaka

French President Emmanuel Macron left Dhaka after a 2-day visit. Today, Monday (September 11), Macron left for Paris on a special flight from Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmood said goodbye to Emmanuel Macron at the airport.

Emmanuel Macron arrived in Dhaka after attending the G-20 conference held in New Delhi, India on Sunday night (September 10).

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina welcomed Emmanuel Macron with flowers at the airport. He was given a red carpet reception at the airport. Emmanuel Macron was also given a guard of honor by the armed forces.

Note that this is the second visit of a French president to Bangladesh after former French President Francois Mitterrand's visit to Bangladesh in 1990.
