AL-BNP Face Off In New York, 1 Arrested

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in New York to attend the 78th General Session of the United Nations. The flight carrying the Prime Minister landed at the country's JF Kennedy Airport at 10:42 PM local time (September 17). Meanwhile, Awami League-BNP leaders faced each other in New York upon the arrival of the Prime Minister.

The leaders and activists of the two parties are standing on both sides of the road at the JF Kennedy International Airport in New York, USA. New York police have to struggle to deal with them. They are also seen shouting slogans. Both groups chanted slogans against each other.

Meanwhile, the police detained a BNP activist for causing chaos at the airport. He was arrested in the evening local time.

It is known that on the occasion of the Prime Minister's arrival, the Awami League organized a joyous rally at JFK International Airport Terminal 4 on Sunday evening and BNP called for a protest rally at the same place. When they tried to create chaos, the police came and removed them. That's when the BNP activist was arrested.
