Areas Where Gas Supply Will Be Halted For 12 Hours On Tuesday

Gas supply will be halted for 12 hours in some areas of two districts tomorrow Tuesday (September 19) due to pipeline construction work.

Today, Monday (September 18) in a press release, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company informed this matter.

According to the notice, gas supply will be halted from 10 am to 10 pm on Tuesday for valve marking, gas shut off and decommissioning work related to the necessary parts of gas pipeline construction. Captive, industrial, commercial, and residential customers from Godnail Valve Station to Wabdapool, Post Office Road to Panchabati intersection will face this.

It will also include Godnail, Enayetnagar, Bou Bazar, Lakibazar, Hajiganj, Wabdapul, Qayyumpur, Fatulla, Bastabpur, Jail Khana area; From Hajiganj Junction via Shibu Market to Post Office Road; Panchbati, Maizdair, Izdair, Chashadha, Khanpur, Killarpool, Talla, Qutubail, Dharmaganj, Takkarmath, Pagla, Chitashal, Delpara, Jalkudi, Nayamati, Dapa Idrakpur, Bhuigarh, Qutubpur Union and surrounding areas and Dhaka Match, Senpur, Moktarpur, Narayanganj Bisik area, from Kashipur Union via Panchabati to Moktarpur, Dharmaganj, Shimgaon, Siddhirganj, Adamji, Sahebpara, Mijmiji to Chittagong Road.

Besides, there will be low pressure of gas in the area under the jurisdiction of Siddhirganj and Fatulla police stations, around Munshiganj and Narayanganj cities.

Titas authorities have expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience to customers.
