Bhuban Dies A Week After Being Shot By Miscreants In Dhaka

Bhuban Chandra Sheel (52), who was shot by miscreants in Tejgaon Shilpanchal police station area of the capital, died.

He died today Monday (September 25) around 10:30 a.m. in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Dhanmondi of the capital. He was on life support there.

Bhuban Chandra Sheel's brother-in-law Palash Chandra Sheel confirmed this information to the media.

Before this, Bhuban underwent brain surgery for 3 hours from 9:30 to 12:00 last Saturday. The doctors said that whether the surgery was successful or not will be reported after 72 hours of monitoring. However, yesterday Sunday (September 24) from 11 o'clock, his condition started to deteriorate. Doctors said yesterday that Bhuban is not responding to treatment.

It is to be noted that last Monday night, a group of miscreants fired indiscriminately at the private car of top terrorist Tariq Saeed alias Mamun on the road in front of BG Press in the Tejgaon industrial area. At that time, Bhuban was shot in the head while returning to his home on a motorcycle.
